How are made the sculptures ?

From an idea, a scheme or picture, a 3d model is sculpted by a Professional art designer. Then, regarding the sculpt volume, a solid wood bloc is assembled. The 3d model is used to program and drive the machine to carve the solid wood bloc. After what, if needed, the last detailed are hand carved, lettering is painted, and finishing is applied, depending of the customer will.

Witch species of timber do you carve?

Lot of European species are in stock, cabinet maker quality: oak, walnut, cheery, chestnut, beechwood, lime. If you need something else, I work with different sawmill where I should be able to source what you need.
